Researchers at the Department of Electronics at the University of Barcelona are working on the project ‘Spot-Nosed’ to develop a mechanical sniffer. This LiveData OR-Dashboard, called as ‘wall of knowledge’, comprises all relevant information of patients and important data from other sources. It will be visible to entire medical team. It conveys all video, image, and patient information together on a single board. The ‘wall of knowledge’ comprises four large displays i.e. OR-Dashboard screen, an display for surgical video, laboratory images and two real-time PACS monitors for X-Rays images. There is a touch-screen control panel for handling all video, image, and OR controls.
