A team of French doctors will be attempting the world’s first zero-gravity operation on a human being on Wednesday. The gravity free conditions will be offered by an Airbus A300 dubbed “Zero-G“. In a custom-made operating block, this teal will remove a fatty tumour from the forearm of an valiant volunteer who has a lot of ‘dramatic gravitational shifts’ experience since he is an ardent bungee-jumper. The operation will be a test for the surgery in space. The operation is part of a project to develop surgical robots in space.
