European countries introduce E-prescription

The Czech Republic has introduced e-prescriptions. The government has made an amendment to the ruling on medicines prescription. If the patients give assent, the doctor may issue the e-prescription. Some of the European countries such as Sweden, Britain, Germany and France have supposedly tried the e-prescription. The electronic signatures of the doctors are necessary on the e-prescription in czech Republic. The prescription is added with a PIN code to send it to the hospital pharmacy through internet or local computer network. The health agencies assigns the PIN. Different letters on the e-prescription indicates about the payment whether by the patient, or whether it is partially or fully covered by health insurers.
