Scientists at the University of Rochester Medical Center are working on implantable living chips to monitor patients that could be developed possibly in a few years from now and could act as ‘living chips.’ The pictured above is a prototype of the future Implantable Wireless Biosensors developed by Physiologic Communications.
The Wireless Biosensor is kept inside and outside the blood vessels and the nerves that offers the revealing, change detection and stimulation of the adjoining organs. Well, if a change is noticed, the patient can contact the doctor for further treatment. That means the patient will get an early intimation of the problem.
These wireless biosensor chips will be used prominently to test the drugs with superior precision and control the implanting devices like Insulin pump to detect the abnormalities.
