Intel Shows Mobile Clinical Assistant Platform

In the meantime, when Intel is quite busy announcing new technology for its next-gen laptops, it revealed its plans for a novel mobile computing platform aimed at healthcare professionals. The special tablet PC dubbed as the mobile clinical assistant boasts a lightweight design and smart features like an integrated handle and a spill- and drop-tolerant corral. The new system will ease the burden off the nurses and doctors and will add to the safety of patients too. The mobile clinical assistant platform integrate a digital camera to improve patient charting and progress notes, Bluetooth technology to record patient crucial signs and wireless connectivity to access electronic medical records systems from any place.
