IYIA’s new device to treat diabetic foot ulcer and Ken Mitchell’s story

Some soothing news for diabetics with foot ulcer! IYIA has come out with O2Misly (you can call it ‘Oh-Miz-lee’) – a miracle device to treat diabetic foot ulcer and thus help prevent a potential foot amputation. According to IYIA founder, Adrian Pelkus, the device employs a process that blends together the best of three elements – oxygen, moisture and antibiotics. The device is also believed to be safe to use and does not pose any hazard to the patient’s other body functions. Treatment is also believed to be not so expensive when compared to standard methods. For Ken Mitchell, a diabetic who had been suffering from foot ulcer for six years, the new creation could not have come at a more opportune time. The foot wound prevented him from receiving kidney and pancreas transplants and therefore he had to be on constant dialysis and pop in over 50 pills everyday. Twelve sessions, spanning two months, of placing his foot into O2Misly’s basin gradually ameliorated his ulcer till it finally disappeared. This also spelt relief from having his wound getting wrapped by a homecare nurse twice every week. The nurse had been attending to his wound for the last three years. This also meant that he could let go of the podiatrist-prescribed shoes that he had to wear to lessen the foot pain. Dr. Michael Wilson, Ken’s Podiatric Specialist, now recommends all his patients for the O2Misly treatment: After six years of dealing with this foot wound through standard methods, Ken Mitchell came to me and, in forty-two days with ‘O’Misly,’ it was healed. Thanks to O2Misly, Ken can finally realize his dream of taking up a job as a chef but after a holiday to the island of Maui, thus putting behind his 28-year struggle with the disease.
