FDA has made the first portable LeadCare II Blood Lead Test System developed by ESA Biosciences, a Chelmsford, Mass. Company available to the 115,000 certified point-of-care locations nationwide. The new system will ease the testing and treatment of the lead poisoning.
The LeadCare II produces the blood-lead results with mere two drops of blood and that too in just three minutes. The system delivers the results on the basis of finger-stick sample. The Lead II Blood Lead Test System will be quite effective to ensure the wellness of the kids who are at higher risk.
