Siemens has developed a new mobile X-ray system dubbed MOBILETT XP CR, which will be showcased at the running annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America. The MOBILETT XP CR comes with computed radiography (CR) reading technology and allows instantaneous image Display, processing and archiving.
It has the capability to store 500 to 1000 exams in its large memory and can transmit images to PACS via DICOM interfaces. The compact and lightweight MOBILETT XP CR system is quite easy to handle and clean. Moreover, doctors can also use a remote control to operate the new mobile X-ray system from up to 30 feet away.
