Stutterers will soon be able to speak without any stutter if this ‘SpeechEasy‘ device performs as stated. Researchers have developed a new kind of device that can aid the stutterer to speak perfectly. The device named ‘SpeechEasy‘ cannot cure the defect but it can only help the patient speak easily without any stutter.
The researchers have based the device on ‘the choral effect’, which is a phenomenon which makes a stutterer speak fluently when they are speaking in chorus or with some other speaker.
The device can be worn in the ear like a ear phone and it plays a delayed voice of the stutterer in a different pitch so that the person feels that he is speaking in unison with some other speaker. This makes the person speak fluently.
