Obstructive sleep apnea — a terrible breathing disorder — can lead to serious health problems including memory problems, i.e. memory loss. Although the contraption device used has not gone terribly popular for its being uncomfortable, scientists are advising the patients to use it regularly!
No, it’s not for the sake to promote its selling, but to also help such patients cure their memory problems as well! Researchers have found that using the device regularly by apnea patients may also reverse the memory problems that often accompany the disease!
The researchers in a study found that patients who use the positive air pressure devices continuously for six hours a night or more, scored higher on memory tests! As being reported in the journal Chest, the study was led by Molly Zimmerman — who was at Brown University Medical School.
